Conference report (H/Soz/Kult)

Welcome to the website of the Research Network on Christian Churches, Culture and Society in Contemporary Europe (CCSCE), a network of researchers and research institutes that focuses on historical research on the interaction of religion, culture and society in Europe from the second half of the 18th century until the present.

CCSCE helps to build relationships and collaborative projects; to communicate funding possibilities, conferences, publications and other events; to share resources for research and teaching, and to produce a sense of community among international researchers working on the topic.

Annual conference 2019: Bochum.

On 24 and 25 June 2019 the CCSCE-Network in cooperation with the Faculty of Catholic Theology of the Ruhr-Universit├Ąt Bochum and KADOC-KU Leuven organized an international conference: 'On the crossroads of modernity.
